We have already agreed on an exchange in May and an other in July. We are still open for long weekends, fall and maybe at the end of the year. |
Flat in PARIS
We live in a 19th century Haussman -style building in Paris, near the famous park Buttes Chaumont. Our apartment has got a cosy living-room with a fireplace which you can use in winter and a separate dining room. There is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer) one toilet and a bathroom which has recently been refurbished. Besides our bedroom, there are two other smaller bedrooms. One room has a very comfortable couch that sleeps two and the other one has got a single bed. If necessary you can use the couch in the living room (sleeps two). Our flat is on the fifth floor, but no worries you don't need to climb the stairs; there is an elevator.

Our Neighbourhood
Our flat is at walking distance (5 min) from the famous parc "Buttes Chaumont" and the parc "Belleville" both of which offer a magnificent view of Paris. If you want to see where Jim Morrison or Oscar Wilde are buried; "Père Lachaise" is only a 15 minute walk from our house. It takes 10 minutes by subway to go to the heart of town (Hotel de Ville, Le Marais, Les Halles etc) The subwaystation is 50 m down the street. You don't need a car to do your shopping ; you can find everything you need in our neighbourhood. There are also a lot of cafés and restaurants. The best way to visit Paris is by subway or by bike. Although we wouldn't advice you to use a car in Paris, we can exchange cars if you want, so that you can go for a drive in the countryside or go to one of the amusementspark (Disneyland, Parc Astérix, Mer de Sable).
