Charming End Townhouse in Þorlákshöfn, Iceland
Welcome to our beautiful end townhouse, nestled in the scenic fishing-town of Þorlákshöfn, Iceland. With 150 m² of living space, a 40 m² garage, a 130 m² deck with BBQ, and a small yard, our home offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure.
Inside, you'll find two kids' bedrooms. The first is space-themed, featuring a high bed with a mattress underneath that can be used for sleeping or cozy reading. The second is gamer-themed, with an 80 cm bed that can be pulled out to 160 cm, accommodating two 80 cm mattresses.
The master bedroom suite offers a 180 cm bed, a 45" TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The living space is open, with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a stove, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, and microwave. The TV room boasts an impressive 85" TV.
For those working remotely, we have an office with two desks where you can plug in your laptop via USB-C. The monitors are either one 49" or two 27" screens, providing ample workspace.
The main bathroom features a bathtub, and there's a separate laundry room that leads to the garage.

Our Neighbourhood
Þorlákshöfn offers a variety of attractions and activities for all ages. In town, you can enjoy a stroll to the lighthouse, let the kids play at the playground or school area, or take a dip in the thermo-heated swimming pool, which features a fantastic indoor kids' pool and outdoor slides for the bigger children.
Just outside of town, you'll find a popular lava tunnel that promises an unforgettable adventure.
Þorlákshöfn is conveniently located just 45 minutes from the center of Reykjavík, and only 1 hour away from the Golden Circle, which includes the iconic Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area.
For those looking to explore even further, day trips can be made to the stunning Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands), the majestic waterfalls Skógarfoss and Seljalandsfoss, the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Black Diamond Beach, the charming village of Vík, and the dramatic black sand beach of Reynisfjara, among many other exciting destinations.
For those interested in hiking, a lot of beautiful hiking trails can be found all around.

About Our Family
We are a couple closing in on 40 years old, we have two kids, 9 year old girl (2015) and a 5 year old boy (2019).
We love going on adventures out in nature but equally love chilling around the house, in the yard on a good day, maybe throwing something on the BBQ for dinner.
We are open to all locations and times, just shoot us a message to see if we are available. I've marked our calendar for the times we are definitely available. Our perfect destination would be close to nature, but with available day trips to a city and/or water/adventure park for the kids.
We leave all of our guests with instructions on the house and amenities as long with info on the surrounding area, tour guided tours we know of and recommendations on sightseeing/daytrips that can be done from our location.
We are looking for an exchange in July, week or more that includes the dates 16th - 23rd of July.
