About Our Family
We are a couple who has travelled extensively, thanks in particular to the homeswapping with people who have become friends in California, Florida and Canada. We are open to all cultures and exchanges.
Lifestyle
We hope you enjoy this quiet cottage with your family and many friends. We live there every weekend and friends regularly join us there, just 1h30 from Paris. Here, time stretches out, we go to the market or to the producers of black pudding, cheese and strawberries. Cows and horses are pleasant neighbors, and we enjoy the peace and quiet.
Our lifestyle: taking the time to enjoy a good book in a deckchair, a good film projected by the video projector, a good bottle by the fireplace, a bargain at the recycling center, etc. Here we eat our tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchinis, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, green beans and salads as soon as the weather's fine. Pumpkins arrive in October.
Some friends come here to smell the roses and aromatic plants, sage and rosemary. Others take a trip to Gerberoy (France's most beautiful village), see old Rouen, the astronomical clock in Beauvais, or the Saint Paul amusement park.
The more adventurous will see the seals in the Bay of the Somme, savor a waffle on the beach at Dieppe, enjoy mussels and French fries at Le Tréport or revisit the D-Day beaches.
