There is a courtyard garden with tables and grills, with many available seating areas. Within a 5-minute walk, there are two waterfront parks, a theatre, a blues bar with live music, lots of restaurants as well as shops, small art galleries, groceries, etc.
The flat is located on the southern city island, and there are ferries to other parts of town. There is a small resort island nearby, Långholmen, with historic building; an old prison converted to a hotel with a nice inn; an eighteenth-century cafe and garden, a small beach, and ferry boats to other parts of town.
By subway the historic Old Town with the royal palace is 4 minutes away, or a15-minute walk. From there, you can go to the large resort island, Djurgården, with museums, walks along the canal, a small bird lake, an amusement park, and a historic outdoor musem (Skansen).
There are ferryboats from town, a short bus ride or 20-minute walk away, that take you into the archipelago: numerous islands, some with hotels, hostels, and restaurants, others nature preserves.
The flat is close to bus stops, subway, and commuter trains (2 minutes to the central station). There is no need for a car; everything is easily available. Two bicycles are available: one electric, one with 7-gears.
