Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Dresden - 40

The neighbourhood borders the city centre and is located in a residential area, opposite a park and near a lake. There are restaurants and shops nearby. You can easily reach the city centre on foot or by bicycle. The bus stop is 20 metres from the house.
Our house dates back to 1882. It was the first house built on Leipziger Straße. The entire house belongs to our family. It consists of three floors. There is a basement where the boiler is, on the ground floor there are two flats that still need to be renovated. On the first floor there is a flat where Eugenia and Claudio live.
On the second floor there are two flats. One is vacant and can be rented or used for non-simultaneous exchanges. Our flats have recently been renovated, as have some common areas, but there are still some parts that have not been renovated. The laundry room and the garden is a part we share.
On the ground floor, near the door to the garden, there is a bathroom that has not yet been renovated, but which works when needed.

About Our Family

We are a family of four people: Claudio and Eugenia, pensioners and our daughters Eleonora and Silvia, aged 30 and 27 respectively. Our status as members is PLATINUM, which means that we have already gathered a good experience in exchanging houses. We are looking for our 29st exchange.
Eugenia and Claudio are retired, so an exchange would be possible at any time of the year. The girls, on the other hand, have work commitments and are not always available. But in any case they have their own apartment. Even a possible exchange not at the same time would be possible.
The cats are independent and normally there is no need to give assistance. We wrote about their presence because they move around in the common areas and some people might be allergic.

Lifestyle

We love to spend time together exploring. We regularly visit museums. We also enjoy theme parks, food festivals, parks, visitor attractions and historic houses. Silvia likes biking and use it every. Eleonora, Eugenia and Silvia likes walking, visit the theatre, or try a new restaurant or bar. At home we enjoy cooking, meeting friends and reading fiction.
