A lovely house in South East Ireland in a fishing village in Wexford.
The house is a 3 bedroom detatched house with enclosed garden about 7 minutes walk or 1 minute drive to the beaches and harbour. Kilmore Quay is a working fishing harbour and with its thatched cottages the village is regarded as one of the most beautiful villages character wise in Ireland.

Nearest Airport: Dublin Airport - 100 miles
Kilmore Quay is an unspoiled beautiful fishing village near Wexford town. It has about 500 inhabitants. There 2 beaches one small and another 5 kilometres long. The burrow walk is a stunning trail alongside the sand dunes . Wild life abounds. There there are cafes restaurants and a traditional pub in the village.the Saltee islands can be accessed from the harbour with daily sailings to view the puffin and gannet colony. Its a haven for keen wildlife photographers. Nearby is Johnsown estate with beautiful walks and a stunning old castle and a fantastic museum for antiquities and a great cafe. Tintern Abbey with its old Cistercian monastery and beautiful woodland walks is a half hours drive. Hook head the oldest working lighthouse in Ireland is wonderful for a day trip and tour. You can also easily access Waterford the neighbouring county on the Passage East car ferry.

About Our Family
We are both retired now and enjoy seeing new places. Both our children are grown up so would not be travelling with us. We love the outdoors, tennis golf, walking and experiencing new cultures and neighborhoods. We have exchanged a number of times before in Italy,Vancouver Toronto,Boston ,San Francisco, and Ireland. Each experience was really positive.
Lifestyle
We are both in our sixties and keen to travel. We enjoy all outdoor life , also watching films ,reading, and enjoy sampling a different lifestyle in various countries.
