Nearest Airport: Stockholm Skavsta - 10 km
Nyköping is a town by the coast one hour south of Stockholm. Our house is 200 meters from the water, but you can not swim there. You can take a nice stroll along the waterfront to the harbour, where there are many restaurants and cafés during the summer. You walk to the center of town in 20 minutes.
Nyköping is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the capital but not in the the middle of the hustle and bustle. If you have children, the famous zoo Kolmården is 40 minutes away. Nyköping has it's own airport, Skavsta, which makes it convenient if you prefer to fly. You can also get here easily by bus or train, and the train to Stockholm takes 60 minutes.
